Astra Otopower Enliven GIIAS 2022

PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Astra Otoparts) also enlivened the 2022 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) by displaying Astra Otopower, which is a battery-based electric motor vehicle charging network (KBLBB). The Astra Otopower booth can be found at Pre-Function Hall 10 (PF10E) (11/8).

"The Future is Bright" as the theme of GIIAS 2022 reflects the Indonesian automotive industry which is getting better, has a bright future, and continues to grow and develop to meet various innovations and technologies in the future.

In line with that, Astra Otoparts also supports the Government in preparing an electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia with its latest innovations through the use of new and renewable energy (EBT) as a form of support for the Government in preparing an electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia, as well as to have a positive impact on the environment.

Officially launched last month, Astra Otopower at GIIAS 2022 comes with three types of charging machines, from wall mount charging to ultra-fast charging machines with three connectors. Of course, the charging machine on the KBLBB Astra Otopower network has used global international communication standards, so that all types of electric vehicles can use this charging machine as long as the connector complies with the applicable regulations in Indonesia.

In addition, this charging machine is also equipped with innovative features in the form of a Safety Flooding System which makes it automatically turn off when submerged in water and a Humidity Control System feature that prevents the charging machine from being excessively humid so that it is in accordance with Indonesian conditions.

"In line with Astra's commitment to realizing a sustainable future for Indonesia, Astra Otopower is a tangible manifestation of Astra Otoparts' contribution to have a positive impact on the environment and to support the government in preparing the infrastructure for the implementation of the G20 Presidency activities and encouraging the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia," he said.
