50 Years of Astra Otoparts: Strengthening Capabilities for Continued Growth

Astra Otoparts celebrated its 50th anniversary on September 10, 2026, under the theme “Leap to Lead.” The theme reflects the company’s commitment to continued growth, adaptation, and strategic advancement in responding to the evolving dynamics of the automotive industry and future mobility needs.

Since its establishment on September 10, 1976, Astra Otoparts has continued to strengthen its manufacturing and trading capabilities for spare parts for four-wheelers, two-wheelers, and commercial vehicles, serving both the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and replacement market (REM) segments. Following the pandemic, the company achieved record-breaking performance for four consecutive years, with this positive growth momentum continuing through the first half of 2026.

“Fifty years of Astra Otoparts’ journey have been built on perseverance, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth. These achievements provide a strong foundation for us to continue transforming into a Diversified Components Powerhouse, strengthening our automotive business, developing technology, and generating new sources of sustainable growth,” said Yusak Kristian Solaeman, President Director of Astra Otoparts.

The 50th anniversary celebration featured various activities involving customers, business partners, employees, and communities. These included a Meet & Greet with Alex Márquez and Fermín Aldeguer, the GS CaRe program reaching 50 schools and universities, a logo competition, the AOP Fest sports event, Health Talk Special, and the AOP Scholarship Program.

The spirit of giving back was also reflected in various social and environmental initiatives, including the inauguration of the AOP Group Seedling House, the planting of 50 rare trees, training for 50 assisted MSMEs, and 50 hours of teaching through the AOP Mengajar program.

The series of celebrations concluded with the 50th Anniversary Grand Celebration and Employee Day 2026, marking an opportunity to reflect on five decades of achievements while looking ahead to the next 50 years with the spirit of “Leap to Lead”—continuing to grow, innovate, and create an even greater impact.
