PT Astra Otoparts Tbk introduced two innovations at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, through the launch of the Aspira Cabin Filter on July 31 and the GS CaRe (Customer Assistance & Retailer Empowerment) program on August 2.
Both initiatives were introduced at the Astra Otoparts booth as part of the Company's commitment to delivering solutions that support health, comfort, and driving safety. Through product innovation and educational programs, Astra Otoparts aims to encourage the public to pay greater attention to cabin air quality and vehicle battery health.
Amid increasingly high mobility, cabin air quality has become an important factor in maintaining comfort and well-being during travel. Addressing this need, the Aspira Cabin Filter helps filter dust, pollutants, and fine particles, contributing to cleaner air circulation inside the vehicle cabin. With improved air quality, drivers and passengers can enjoy a healthier and more comfortable journey.
Complementing this innovation, Astra Otoparts also introduced GS CaRe, an educational program that provides vehicle battery health checks in Jakarta, Bandung, and Batam.
The program will visit schools, communities, and various other strategic locations, and is open to all car owners, whether they use GS Astra batteries or other battery brands.
The inspection uses the BASED method, comprising Battery Check, Alternator Check, Starter Check, Electrical Check, and Dark Current Check, providing a comprehensive assessment of battery condition. Through regular inspections, the program aims to help reduce the risk of vehicle breakdowns during journeys while enhancing driving safety and comfort.
