DENSO Group Indonesia Engages with the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia

Representatives of DENSO Group Indonesia met with Budi Santoso, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, at the Ministry of Trade building in Jakarta on July 16, 2026.

The meeting was attended by PT DENSO Indonesia (DNIA) and PT DENSO Sales Indonesia (DSIA), both part of the PT Astra Otoparts Tbk Group, together with PT DENSO Manufacturing Indonesia (DMIA), DENSO International Asia (DIAT), and DENSO International Asia Singapore (DIAS). The meeting served as a strategic forum to strengthen synergy between the government and industry players in promoting export growth and sustainable investment.

During the meeting, the Government reaffirmed its commitment to creating a more conducive investment climate through regulatory simplification, logistics infrastructure development, and broader access to international markets through various Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).

DENSO Group Indonesia also shared its perspectives on developing exports from Indonesia, including opportunities to leverage markets in partner countries.

Hisashi Yanase, CEO & President of DIAT, explained that although global export policies are determined by DENSO's headquarters, Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, is positioned as a strategic region for future export development.

The meeting reflects DENSO Group Indonesia's commitment to continued collaboration with the Government to strengthen Indonesia's competitiveness as a manufacturing and export base, while supporting national economic growth and strengthening Indonesia's position in global supply chains.
