As part of its commitment to environmental conservation, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk – Nusametal Division provided 100 organic waste drop-off bins to the North Jakarta Administrative City Government through the North Jakarta Environmental Agency on July 28, 2026. The initiative reflects the Company's support for the implementation of community-based waste segregation and management programs in North Jakarta.

The program forms part of Nusametal's social contribution in support of the "North Jakarta Waste Segregation Declaration" (Deklarasi Jakarta Utara Pilah Sampah) movement and the implementation of Instruction of the Governor of DKI Jakarta No. 5 of 2026 on the Waste Segregation and Processing Movement. The 100 waste bins will be gradually distributed across six districts in North Jakarta, based on the readiness of each area, enabling the benefits to reach a broader community.

Through collaboration with the government and various stakeholders, Nusametal hopes to encourage waste segregation at the source, reduce the amount of waste ending up at final disposal facilities, and contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.

Edy Mulyanto, Head of the North Jakarta Environmental Agency, expressed his appreciation for Nusametal's support. According to him, synergy between the government and the business sector is an important step in strengthening community-based waste management while contributing to a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable North Jakarta.
