BARCELONA: Alex Marquez delivered an outstanding performance in the 2025 Catalunya MotoGP. The Gresini Racing rider successfully defeated his own brother, Marc Marquez, in an intense duel at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Sunday (07/09). This victory also marked a special moment for Aspira, which supports Gresini Racing in the MotoGP championship.
At the start, Marc Marquez initially led the race. However, his dominance was broken on lap 4 when Alex executed a sharp maneuver at the first corner to seize the lead. The sibling rivalry continued fiercely until the final lap, but Alex managed to maintain his race rhythm and crossed the finish line in first place.
“This race felt perfect for me. No mistakes today—only speed and focus. After the incident in the Sprint Race, today’s victory becomes the best lesson,” said Alex Marquez after stepping onto the podium at the Catalunya MotoGP Series.
This win marks Alex’s second triumph in the premier class, further highlighting his consistency with Gresini Racing this season.
“Alex was incredibly fast and remained consistent until the final lap, securing his second victory. This is also a special gift for Aspira, as we are celebrating Aspira’s 25th anniversary in Bali with all of our outstanding Stores and Dealers,” stated Martogi Siahaan, Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk.
This momentum in Barcelona also demonstrates that Aspira’s support extends beyond the racetrack, becoming an integral part of the achievement journey of world-class riders.
