JAKARTA: PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (“Astra Otoparts/the Company”) once again held the AOP Exhibition on 9–10 February 2026 as one of its initiatives to support innovation, accelerate growth, and strengthen business resilience across its subsidiaries.
Carrying the theme “3D for D (Deflated Costs, Decarbonized Future, Digital Sprint for Designing the Future)” and participated in by 37 Astra Otoparts subsidiaries, the event served as a platform to showcase achievements in innovation initiatives, automation and digitalization implementation, as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs. It also functioned as a knowledge-sharing forum among companies within the Astra Otoparts Group.
The AOP Exhibition has become a collaborative platform that strengthens long-term competitiveness. In addition to the exhibition, the event included judging sessions as a form of appreciation for the best initiatives from subsidiaries. This year’s “3D for D” theme highlighted breakthroughs across three pillars: Industry 4.0 initiatives, operational efficiency, and sustainability/ESG practices integrated into business processes.
Since it was first launched in 2014 under the name CRP Exhibition, the AOP Exhibition has continued to evolve alongside the Company’s business needs. In 2025, the event transformed into the AOP Exhibition, reflecting Astra Otoparts’ expanded focus beyond cost reduction toward technology optimization, digital transformation, and ESG integration to enhance operational quality and long-term sustainability.
This transformation aligns with Astra Otoparts’ vision to become a world-class automotive component supplier supported by strong engineering capabilities, enabling the Company to remain competitive over the long term.
“To become a preferred partner, Astra Otoparts must deliver added value to stakeholders, one of which is through achieving operational excellence by leveraging technological advancements and digitalization across all subsidiaries. At the same time, ESG implementation is an essential component of long-term risk management to safeguard the Company’s resilience and sustainability,” said President Director Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim.

This year, the AOP Exhibition highlighted selected flagship initiatives from subsidiaries across the three focus areas. In sustainability, Astra Otoparts – Nusametal Division adopted minimum quantity lubrication technology in machining processes, reducing waste while improving productivity. In digitalization, PT FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia implemented an ERP system connected to digital dashboards (including energy consumption and warehousing) and optimized production through lean manufacturing.
In cost reduction programs, PT Akebono Brake Astra Indonesia utilized AI-based visual inspection and quality control technology to increase productivity, alongside material substitution without compromising quality.
The AOP Exhibition serves as a best-practice sharing platform among subsidiaries to accelerate innovation adoption across the Astra Otoparts ecosystem.
Beyond internal knowledge exchange, the exhibition also provided external perspectives through guest speakers from IKEA (PT DFI Retail Nusantara), Business Intelligence Manager Christian M. Rustam, and from PwC Indonesia, Director of Energy Transition Christian Sinaga and Senior Manager of Energy Transition Damar Pranadi.
The speakers shared insights and experiences on the latest developments in operational management, sustainability, and business strategies amid rapid industry transformation. These learnings reinforced the importance of preparedness in navigating evolving global economic dynamics.
Amid projections of a more conducive economic outlook in 2026, Astra Otoparts continues to emphasize agility in responding to rapid change. Through the AOP Exhibition, the Company promotes a culture of continuous improvement and competitiveness strengthening.
In line with its competitiveness strengthening, Astra Otoparts, through its subsidiaries Astra Otoparts Philippines Inc. and Astra Visteon Philippines Inc., completed its first automotive component delivery in late January 2026 to Honda Philippines Inc.. This milestone marks the beginning of operations in the Philippines and reinforces the Company’s role in the global supply chain, particularly in Asia.
The first delivery reflects Honda Philippines’ trust in Astra Otoparts’ manufacturing capabilities and represents the initial step in a long-term commitment to establishing automotive component manufacturing presence in the Philippines.
This expansion effort runs in parallel with the strengthening of internal capabilities driven by various strategic initiatives, including the AOP Exhibition.
The AOP Exhibition is expected to serve as a momentum to deepen collaboration and catalyze new ideas that drive operational transformation and sustainable business growth for Astra Otoparts. The Company remains optimistic about continuously enhancing competitiveness while fostering sustainable growth.
