JAKARTA: In support of the transition toward sustainable mobility, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (“Astra Otoparts”) has introduced Astra Otopower, a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) charging facility located at KFC MT Haryono.
Officially operating from Thursday, July 3, 2025, the facility is part of Astra Otoparts’ efforts to expand the public EV charging network while enhancing convenience for loyal KFC customers.
The presence of Astra Otopower reflects a strategic collaboration between Astra Otoparts and PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (“KFC Indonesia”) in support of the Indonesian government’s initiative to reduce vehicle emissions and accelerate the energy transition through the development of EV infrastructure.
Electric vehicle charging is now more practical and convenient. In line with Astra Otopower’s spirit, “Powering Your EV”, customers can now charge their vehicles at the KFC MT Haryono outlet. The charging station is equipped with a 60kW DC fast charger and two CCS connectors, enabling Ultra Fast Charging to ensure time-efficient and comfortable daily mobility for EV users.
“The launch of this facility marks the beginning of our collaboration to bring Astra Otopower to more KFC locations across Indonesia,” said T. Martogi Siahaan, Director of Astra Otoparts. “We hope this collaboration expands the reach of Astra Otopower services while reinforcing our shared commitment to promoting a more sustainable lifestyle,” he added.

The presence of Astra Otopower at KFC MT Haryono is also part of its network expansion into culinary and lifestyle destinations—supporting modern, reliable, and convenient mobility solutions. Astra Otopower currently operates at 40 locations across Indonesia, including office areas, rest stops, and shopping centers.
This initiative aligns with Astra Otoparts’ vision to build an inclusive and integrated electric vehicle ecosystem embedded in modern urban life. Developing charging infrastructure in public areas such as quick-service restaurants plays a crucial role in shaping an environmentally friendly, convenient, and efficient mobility experience.
The launch of Astra Otopower at KFC MT Haryono marks the first step in a long-term collaboration between Astra Otoparts and KFC Indonesia.
