Aspira Back to Sponsor Gresini Racing MotoGP for the 2023 Season

The 2023 season will be the second year for Gresini Racing to return to MotoGP with Aspira, as well as the eleventh year the collaboration between PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Astra Otoparts) and Gresini Racing has been established since it started in the Moto2 event in 2012. This partnership is one of the longest in the ever-growing world of motor racing.

As previously reported, next year's Gresini Racing MotoGP will be strengthened by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Diggia) and Alex Marquez. The Aspira logo, one of Astra Otoparts' four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicle spare parts brands, will be displayed on the fairing of the Ducati GP22 that is ridden by the two racers, racing clothes and crew uniforms, as well as on the Gresini Racing team truck.

Gresini Racing welcomes cooperation in the upcoming 2023 season. "I am very happy that Astra Otoparts and Gresini will continue to work together in 2023. The eleven seasons together are a testament to the achievement of common goals and, of course, the success of this partnership," said Gresini Racing Commercial and Marketing Director Carlo Merlini. He also expressed his deep gratitude for the trust given by Astra Otoparts to Gresini Racing.

In addition, he also expressed his optimism for the 2023 MotoGP season. "Next year we will face new challenges with Diggia and Alex and I am sure we will give a lot of joy to all our fans in Indonesia," continued Carlo.

Astra Otoparts feels the same spirit. “When Gresini decided to return to the premier class in MotoGP as an independent team, we were very excited and immediately decided to take part. Enea and Diggia look like a promising line-up and we were right. Enea is a title contender and Diggia did his best in his rookie season,” said Director of Astra Otoparts Yusak Kristian.

“In 2023 Aspira will continue its partnership with Gresini Racing in the MotoGP class. I believe the signing of Alex Marquez is a good strategy for Gresini Racing. Alex and Diggia are competitive racers, so Aspira and all Indonesian fans will once again have a strong team to support and encourage," concluded Yusak.
