Aspira Optimistic to Welcome Gresini Racing MotoGP Season 2023 Line Up

The Gresini Racing MotoGP Team has finally announced the final line-up for the 2023 season. Having previously known Fabio di Giannantonio will continue to race in the Gresini Racing MotoGP Team next season, Nadia Padovani Gresini then announced the certainty of Alex Marquez joining the team (26/6).

Originally from Cervera, Spain, Alex Marquez was the Moto3 World Champion in 2014 and the Moto2 World Champion in 2019 with a total of 40 podiums. The 2023 season will be the 26-year-old's fourth year in the MotoGP class and will be the first time aboard the Desmosedici having previously ridden a Honda.

“I am very happy to announce my move to the Gresini MotoGP Team and am excited for this new adventure. It was important for me to adapt and have a new motivation when I arrived in this category. Of course the team that made history in this championship was the best choice for me," said Alex Marquez.

Gresini Racing team owner, Nadia Padovani Gresini, also expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. “I am very excited about this new project. This year Fabio has shown his talent is growing from race to race, and I'm sure he will be even more competitive. Alex has also been the perfect person for our team. His CV speaks for him, we think he has great potential and the Desmosedici could be the perfect adventure companion."

Similar to Nadia Padovani Gresini, Aspira also expressed his optimism for the 2023 season. “The Gresini Racing MotoGP 2023 line up is certainly an interesting thing. The presence of Alex and Fabio in a team with young talent and enthusiasm, we hope to provide excitement and positive results in every race that will be held next season," concluded Yusak Kristian as Director of Astra Otoparts.
