PT Astra Component Indonesia (ASKI) held a handover ceremony for the High Flow Nasal Cannula or HFNC product with the SIGOGRIN trademark represented by ASKI's president director, Prihatanto Agung, to the founder of PT Berkah Installation Mediak (BIM), Lissa Imelia on Wednesday (19/1 ).
The event, which took place in the ASKI lobby, Citeureup, Bogor, was a symbolic handover of the SIGOGRIN-HFNC product which was ready to be distributed to several hospitals in Indonesia through BIM. The handover was also attended by PT Astra Otoparts Tbk - Engineering Development Center Division, as the HFNC product development team.
SIGOGRIN-HFNC is a high-flow oxygen therapy device to assist breathing by distributing oxygen through a clear, transparent and flexible tube. The use of this tool is not limited to Covid-19 patients, but can also be used for patients who have a diagnosis of lung disease.
The development of the SIGOGRIN-HFNC product is a solution for ASKI and BIM in an effort to answer the problem of the government's dependence on imported medical devices (alkes). SIGOGRIN-HFNC products can be obtained by the public or health institutions through BIM as an official distributor.
In order to complete the improvement in quality and customer satisfaction, BIM will also open a service center to serve the need for spare parts or spare parts from domestically produced medical equipment.
