The evolving dynamics of the global business environment continue to encourage companies to become more adaptive in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance. In response to these challenges, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Astra Otoparts/AOP), through its Audit & Risk Management Advisory (ARMA) Division, held the Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) Forum 2025 on December 10, 2025, at the Astra Otoparts Auditorium. Carrying the theme “Driving Resilience: Strategies for Thriving in Global Uncertainty,” the forum served as a strategic initiative to strengthen the integrated implementation of GRC in supporting the resilience and sustainability of the AOP Group.
The event was attended by approximately 150 participants, including members of the Board of Directors, Division Heads, Executives in Charge, Risk Champions, and Controllers across the AOP Group. Through this forum, participants gained deeper insights into strategies for business resilience amid geopolitical risks and digital disruption, with emphasis on strengthening a risk-aware culture and utilizing technology in a secure and responsible manner.
The forum opened with an opening speech by Vice President Director of Astra Otoparts, Yusak Kristian Solaeman, who emphasized the importance of governance, risk management, and compliance as a fundamental basis for strategic decision-making. He also highlighted that strong GRC implementation serves as a key enabler for companies to grow sustainably amid global uncertainty.
The event continued with a series of panel discussions and insight talks.
Amid the rapid advancement of AI—particularly chat-based AI—companies are required not only to adapt but also to remain vigilant regarding governance, security, and compliance aspects.
As part of the GRC Forum 2025, the ARMA team also introduced an AI-based innovation called “ARMA Sense,” developed internally to support GRC implementation within Astra Otoparts. ARMA Sense is a chat-based system designed to facilitate secure analysis of internal company documents using AI. Currently, the system is still being used on a limited basis within the ARMA Division, with plans for broader implementation targeted for 2026.
Closing the event, ARMA Division Head Herindra Veriawan emphasized that the GRC Forum serves as a strategic collaboration platform to create a resilient, innovative, and competitive GRC ecosystem. Through this forum, Astra Otoparts continues to strengthen its commitment to building a resilient foundation across the AOP Group, enabling the organization to respond adaptively to global uncertainty while advancing the maturity and sustainability of GRC practices throughout the company.
