In response to this spirit, Aspira Premio, the motorcycle tire product line from the Aspira brand under PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, launched its latest variant, the Sportivo 2, at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
The launch took place today (July 27) at the Astra Otoparts booth, located in Pre-Function Hall 2 (PF2), ICE BSD City. The Aspira Premio Sportivo 2 is designed to deliver the perfect combination of performance, control, and sporty aesthetics, while still offering comfort for everyday use.
Carrying the spirit of "Unleash the Beast," the Sportivo 2 succeeds the Aspira Premio Sportivo RS-01 and introduces several key improvements. Its new tread design enhances traction across a variety of road conditions, delivering better grip and more responsive handling than its predecessor.
This tire strikes a balance between durability and flexibility, making it ideal for sport-commuter riders. Additionally, its internal structure has been upgraded to improve comfort during medium- to long-distance rides.
T. Martogi Siahaan, Director of Astra Otoparts, stated that the launch of the Sportivo 2 reflects the company’s continuous effort to bring innovation to the national two-wheeler component market.
“The launch of the Aspira Premio Sportivo 2 demonstrates our commitment to delivering products that are not only reliable in terms of performance but also aligned with the mobility needs of today’s riders. Echoing this sentiment, Andreas Somawidjaja, Product Manager of Aspira Premio, added that the tire was developed not only for speed but also for enhanced control and comfort.
“The Sportivo 2’s tread pattern draws inspiration from racing tires, yet it maintains the stability and control needed for everyday riding. This tire was developed for active and dynamic riders who still prioritize comfort,” he explained.
Size Availability
The Aspira Premio Sportivo 2 is available in various sizes, including 80/90-14, 90/90-14, 90/80-14, and 100/80-14. It is compatible with 14-inch automatic motorcycles, commonly used by active urban riders and those who frequently travel longer distances.
The launch of the Sportivo 2 is part of Astra Otoparts' broader presence at GIIAS 2025, reinforcing the company's commitment to delivering innovative, adaptive, and highly competitive local products to the national automotive market.
