JAKARTA: KYB Indonesia marked its 50th anniversary in Indonesia with the launch of a new lineup of suspension products for both four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles at an event held at Black Owl, Kelapa Gading, today (21/04).
Over the past five decades, KYB, as part of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (“Astra Otoparts”), has delivered globally standardized suspension and shock absorber products that support driving comfort, stability, and safety. This milestone reaffirms KYB’s commitment to continuously delivering innovations that are relevant to the needs of the Indonesian market, while strengthening its position in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Delivering Innovation for Every Driving Need
As part of its 50th anniversary celebration, KYB Indonesia introduced a range of products designed to meet the increasingly diverse driving performance needs in Indonesia, from daily comfort to high-performance requirements and commercial vehicles.
For four-wheel vehicles, KYB presented a clearly segmented product lineup. KYB Premium, based on the original specification concept, for front and rear shock absorbers of the Toyota Innova Zenix (2022–present), is designed to maintain comfort and driving characteristics in line with manufacturer standards. KYB Ultra, with a special performance concept for rear shock absorbers of the All New Avanza, Xenia, and Veloz (2021–present), offers a balance between comfort and stability, enhancing vehicle control across various road conditions.
Meanwhile, KYB Heavy Duty, with an extra load performance concept for front and rear shock absorbers of the Mitsubishi Canter (2000–present), is developed with a stronger construction to support optimal performance for heavy-load vehicles.
In the two-wheel segment, KYB introduced the KYB Zeto line as a high-performance shock absorber. This product, including for the Yamaha XMax, is equipped with rebound, compression, and preload adjustment features, allowing riders to customize suspension characteristics according to their preferences.
KYB also expanded its solutions for the restoration segment and classic motorcycle enthusiasts through products for the Yamaha RX King, including KYB Zeto front shocks with a stylish design and KYB Premium rear shocks with an OEM look and original specifications.
In addition, KYB Premium front and rear shock absorbers for the Vespa LX 150 were introduced to maintain the original design while enhancing riding comfort.
Going forward, KYB Indonesia remains optimistic about expanding its market reach, strengthening its brand position, and delivering high-quality suspension solutions that support performance, safety, and driving comfort for the Indonesian market.
