MANDALIKA: The Mandalika International Circuit witnessed the remarkable success of the Gresini Racing MotoGP team, as Fermin Aldeguer and Alex Márquez delivered outstanding victories at the 2025 Mandalika MotoGP. This achievement was further strengthened by the strategic collaboration with Aspira, the automotive component brand owned by PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (“Astra Otoparts”).
Fermin dominated the race from start to finish, securing his first-ever Grand Prix victory with a margin of nearly seven seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing). Meanwhile, Alex Márquez claimed third place, earning a double podium for Gresini Racing MotoGP.
This triumph stands as strong evidence of the synergy between rider performance, team strategy, and the continuous support from Aspira, which has accompanied Gresini Racing in world-class racing for over a decade. Since 2013, Aspira has been a loyal partner of the team, reflecting its commitment to advancing motorsport achievements while strengthening the presence of Indonesian-made automotive products on the global stage.
“Congratulations to Fermin on his first victory in his debut MotoGP season, and to Alex for securing a third-place podium in Mandalika. Support from Aspira and fans in Indonesia served as great motivation for the Gresini team to deliver their best performance in this round,” said Martogi Siahaan, Director of Astra Otoparts.
This achievement is not only a proud moment for Gresini Racing but also a special one for MotoGP fans in Indonesia, who were able to witness world-class racing excellence on home soil. The success further reinforces Indonesia’s standing as an important part of the global racing ecosystem.
Aspira remains committed to advancing the national automotive industry through innovation and collaboration in motorsport. This victory demonstrates that synergy between a local brand and global talent can produce extraordinary accomplishments.
