Astra Otoparts Recorded Net Profit Growth of 116.9% in 2022

PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (the Company/Auto) recorded a consolidated net profit of Rp1.32 trillion in 2022, grew 116.9% from net profit in 2021 of Rp611.34 billion. The increase in net profit is in line with the increase in revenue performance of Rp18.57 trillion, growing 22.62% of the income performance in 2021 of Rp15.15 trillion.

In terms of balance sheet, the company posted an asset growth of 9.3% to Rp18.52 trillion in 2022, compared to Rp16.94 trillion in 2021. Along with that, the amount of liabilities also recorded an increase of 7.2% to Rp5.47 trillion in 2022, from the previous Rp5.10 trillion in 2021.

To support the electric vehicle ecosystem, the company launched Astra Otopower, a battery-based electric vehicle (KBLBB) charging facility that can be used by all types of four-wheeled electric vehicles in July 2022. Astra Otopower has three types of charging machines ranging from wall-mount charging, Fast charging, and ultra-fast charging. At present, Astra Otopower is available at the Astra Tower, 6 Astra Otakerervice outlets, namely in Kelapa Gading, Galaxy-Bekasi, Cibubur, Fatmawati, Serpong, and Meruya, as well as at the KM 456B Pendopo Resta.

Whereas in the non-automotive segment, the company re-launched domestic medical devices in the form of 2D ultrasound, anthropometry set (digital flat scale, digital baby scale, stadium, infantometer, and measuring tape), and autoclave in November 2022, completing the domestic medical devices which was launched before.

Manufacturing business segment

In the manufacturing business segment, the company cooperates with world -renowned business partners to produce various kinds of parts that serve almost all automotive manufacturers and substitute parts markets in Indonesia, both for two -wheeled, four -wheeled, commercial, and others. Throughout 2022, the company's manufacturing business segment posted a net income growth of 32.2% to Rp10.36 trillion, compared to Rp7.83 trillion in 2021.

Trade business segment

The Company's Trading Business Segment is supported by a domestic distribution network, export, and modern retail trading network under the names shop & drive, shop & bike, motoquick, and Astra Otakerervice, Digital Trading Platform www.astraotoshop.com KBLBB Astra Otopower. Throughout 2022, the company's trade business segment posted a net income growth of 12.4% to Rp8.22 trillion, compared to Rp7.32 trillion in 2021.
