JAKARTA: PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (“Astra Otoparts”), together with PT Shell Indonesia (“Shell Indonesia”), received a Museum Rekor-Dunia Indonesia (MURI) award in the category of “Largest Simultaneous Car Oil Change Across Workshop Network” today (23/08/25). More than 2,500 cars participated in the simultaneous Shell Helix Astra oil change at 403 Shop & Drive locations across more than 100 cities and regencies in Indonesia.
Held to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, this initiative represents a tangible collaboration between Astra Otoparts and Shell Indonesia in providing accessible and reliable vehicle maintenance services that bring direct benefits to the public—from Jakarta, Balikpapan, Surabaya, Medan, Manado, and many other cities.
As a form of appreciation for customers’ enthusiasm, Astra Otoparts offered a special Shell Helix Astra promotion during the program period. Customers could purchase a Shell Helix Astra 4-Liter package (5W-30, 10W-30, and 10W-40 variants), including oil change services at all Shop & Drive outlets nationwide, for a special price reflecting Indonesia’s Independence Day, IDR 170,845.
