PT Astra Otoparts Tbk has again inaugurated the Astra Otopower Battery-Based Electric Motor Vehicle (KBLBB) charging network, to accommodate the needs of electric vehicle users on the Trans-Java Toll Road. Astra Otopower was present at Resta Hall KM 456B located in Semarang Regency, Central Java (20/1).
The inauguration was carried out by Director of PT Astra International Tbk as well as President Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim accompanied by Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk Yusak Kristian, Group Chief Executive Officer of ASTRA Infra Firman Yosafat Siregar and President Director of PT Astari Marga Sarana Michael Atmoko as manager of Resta Pendopo KM 456B.
"Apart from accommodating electric vehicle users, the installation of the Astra Otopower charging machine at Resta Pendopo KM 456B is also a form of collaboration within the Astra Value Chain, where we from the automotive and infrastructure business lines in the Astra group complement each other to create added value for each other. In this case, we are providing support by providing Astra Otopower for Resta Pendopo KM 456B to support the needs of electric vehicle users," said Hamdhani.
The charging station at Resta Pendopo KM 456B has used global standards, so that all types of electric vehicles can use the Astra Otopower charging machine as long as the connector complies with regulations in force in Indonesia.
Firman Yosafat Siregar also hopes to make it easier for electric vehicle users to charge at Resta Pendopo KM 456B, so they don't have to worry anymore about crossing the Trans-Java Toll Road. In addition, while charging, electric vehicle users can rest for a while comfortably, enjoy the views and existing facilities before continuing their journey.
Astra Otopower also ensures the convenience and comfort of electric vehicle users in accessing charging. Users only need to scan the QR Code printed on the machine, then log in and fill in some data such as name, email, and cell phone number, then the charging machine can be used.
"In the future, Astra Otopower will come with a charging machine with a larger capacity so that it can charge faster at the KM 456B Resta Hall," concluded Yusak.
