Coinciding with GS Astra's 49th birthday in November 2023, PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (Astra Otoparts), the sole distributor of the well-known battery brand GS Astra, held the GS Astra 49th Anniversary Celebration program which took place from June 9 2023 until 31 January 2024. The drawing event was held on 21 February 2024 and the winner was announced on 27 March 2024 (27/3).

This drawing event was witnessed and ratified directly by representatives from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs Linda Narti and Royani, representatives from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service Eny Suhaeni, and Ratna Sari Laksana SH as Notary. "Thank you to all loyal customers who have participated in the GS Astra 49th Anniversary Gebyar Semarak program, as well as for their support and especially their trust in us to date. "We will continue to make improvements in the coming years so that we are always ready to be the best friend for motorists," said Indra Nugraha, Executive in Charge of Marketing at Astra Otoparts.

In celebrating the 49th anniversary of GS Astra, Astra Otoparts appreciated its customers with prizes of billions of rupiah, consisting of:

• Four units of cars, namely 1 unit Toyota Raize 1.2G CVT, 1 unit Toyota All New Avanza 1.3 EM/T, and 2 units All New Agya 1.2 G M/T;
• Nine motorbikes, including 2 Honda ADV 160 CBS units, 3 Honda Vario 125 ISS units, and 4 Honda Genio ISS units; And
• Electronic balances with details of 49 AstraPay balances of IDR 2,000,000, 49 AstraPay balances of IDR 1,000,000, 490 AstraPay balances of IDR 500,000, and 490 AstraPay balances of IDR 250,000.

The recipients of the main prize in the form of four cars are as follows:

• Mr Untung, winner of 1 unit of Toyota Raize 1.2G CVT
• Mr. Azfareza Hidayat won 1 unit of the Toyota All New Avanza 1.3 E M/T
• Mr. Zulfauzi and Mr. Muhammad Iqbal won 1 unit each of the All New Agya 1.2 G M/T

"We urge the winners to be careful of all forms of fraud in the name of GS Astra or PT Astra Otoparts Tbk. "We are not asking for any payment from all winners of the Gebyar Semarak 49 Years GS Astra lottery, except for additional fees if the winner wants to transfer the prize by changing the name of the motorbike or car," concluded Ingrid Iskandar, Division Head Marketing of Astra Otoparts.
