"From there we made a selection from several existing sectors, and finally agreed to produce medical devices," he said. Starting from producing personal protective equipment such as face shields and UV boxes, most recently Astra Otoparts has launched domestic medical devices in the form of 2D ultrasound, Anthropometry Sets (digital flat scales, digital baby scales, stadiometers, infantometers and measuring tapes), and autoclaves.

Apart from medical devices, Astra Otoparts also entered the era of electrification by launching Astra Otopower, a Battery-Based Electric Motorized Vehicle (KBBB) charging facility that can be used by all types of four-wheeled electric vehicles. After the pandemic, Astra Otoparts redefined its vision and mission. It used to feature "world class auto supplier," while now it has become "world class parts manufacturing," meaning that Astra Otoparts has started to diversify into the non-automotive business, although it is still open to synergizing with other investors such as Japanese, European, US, Chinese companies. , and a local player that was previously done.
